Foundations of Cancer Disease Sites Part B (CDSB00ODM19)
This course will introduce participants to essential concepts in solid tumours under the groupings of endocrine (thyroid), head & neck (oral and laryngeal) and gastrointestinal tumours (esophageal, gastric, primary liver and pancreatic) as well as skin cancers. There are 8 modules in total, covering disease site specific prevalence and incidence, risk factors, signs and symptoms, screening, diagnostics, treatment options, and survivorship care. The information presented in this course is fundamental to those who work with oncology patients and their families. For each type of cancer, a case study will evaluate the learning.
- Complete all course evaluations: baseline and post-survey, and end-of-section quizzes
- Complete all end-of-section course tests with a passing grade of 70%
(Note: there is a maximum of two attempts per test in each section)
